Our headquarter in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, serves as the central manufacturing hub for delivering switchboards with advanced electrical solutions to clients worldwide across various sectors, including utility, industrial, and commercial.

Elecol Switchgear holds ASTA certifications and is Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) certified. Our manufacturing processes strictly adhere to British Standard (BS) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) guidelines.

1993 Founded
Elecol Switchgear established, marking the beginning of our journey as a trusted low-voltage switchboard manufacturer.
1996 Early Recognition
Appointed as the sole supplier for the prestigious Mines Resort City Development Project, which includes:
• The Mines Shopping Centre
• Palace of the Golden Horses
• Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC)
Three leading engineering consulting firms have endorsed our solutions.
1997 Successfully obtained Short Circuit Test Certification from the United Kingdom, strengthening international credibility.
1998 Achieved Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) approval.
Relocated to the Balakong Industrial Area, with upgraded facilities to support higher production capacity.
2003 Growth & Expansion
Expanded into a double-storey bungalow factory, enhancing manufacturing capability and production efficiency.
2009 Selected as the sole supplier for Damascus International Airport, Syria, extending our international footprint.
2010 Secured 2000A & 3000A ASTA Full Type Test Certification (IEC 61439-2) in Australia.
Additionally, obtained Arc Fault Containment Test Certification, reinforcing our commitment to safety and reliability.
2014 Regional & Global Recognition
Appointed as the sole supplier for the Embassy of Malaysia in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, showcasing regional trust in our
solutions.
2015 Achieved 4000A & 5000A ASTA Full Type Test Certification (IEC 61439-2) in Korea, further elevating our global recognition.
2019-(Present) Modernization & Capacity Expansion
Relocated to a 26,000 sq. ft. advanced manufacturing facility, expanding capacity and introducing modernized production processes to meet growing demand.
